Hyderabad

I had never been to Hyderabad before, so i was quite excited to go and play there. We just had a gig in delhi a week before the hyderabad show, but it somehow felt like we haven't played in years. I guess we were traveling by air after the chennai sector, so it seemed like a long time. Pilla and I left for the airport and we were damn excited about the gig and the trip in general. Surprisingly everyone reached on time. Anyhow, got in the plane and ate some CRAZY breakfast.... Good fun. When we landed in Hyderabad, I was amazed to see the airport. I have never seen an airport THAT amazing. It could even give competition to a lot of airports abroad. Anyhow, we caught the shuttle to Begampet and met up with sushmit and reached the hotel. CRAZY circles as usual!!!! We just hung out at the hotel and then went to 10 Downing Street to check it out. Best part is, ANYTHING we ordered there was on the house even before soundcheck and all.... CRAZY shit. Pilla and Bindal got so drunk in the afternoon and I was sober, so it was funny to be hanging out with 2 drunks. But the highlight of the afternoon was the HOOOOOOOOOT CHICK in red...... heheheheheh ..... She was most definitely our "Random gig girl" for Hyderabad. Went back to the hotel and had a BLAST. It was just the 4 of us chilling out and doing freaky things ....... We laughed our asses off. I wish i could tell you why we laughed so much, but we prefer to keep those things within the band :p. Anyhow, time came for us to leave for the venue and so we did .... Soundcheck and all was smooth. A few problems with the snare tone and Pilla's tone, but we sorted it out. Now we realise Golu's importance in the band. A sound engineer can actually make or break your gig. "Native Tongue" started playing and things were moving ..... There were quite a few people there. I got to meet an old friend 'Neha' over there, damn sweet of her to show up for the gig. Anyhow, time came for us to take the stage and we started playing, the stage was quite good for a pub gig ..... Crowd was having a good time and so were we. There was some CRAZY moshing as well. Played a good show, although my voice was sooooooooo fucked, I couldnt hit any high notes, I had a terrible cold. But since nobody seemed to notice, i didnt really care anymore. After the gig, I met Pilla's friends Manasi, Tania and Mani ..... Very sweet of them to come for our show. Tania made me so happy by singing along with our lyrics and asking for "My Bitch" hehehehehehehe ....... Met up with Anirudh from "Blend" as well. After the gig we were sooooo tired, but we got 2 encores, so we just decided to play them. Loved the gig. After the gig we all hung out back at our room, the band, Sushmit, Anirudh, Tania, Manasi, Mani and their friend (the phone dude ...... heheheheheh) we were all chilling and drinking (well ..... everyone except Srijan and myself). Had a great time, eventhough we never got to try Hyderabadi Biryani for which I will never forgive Mani (heheheheheheheh .....  :p). I would seriously love to come to Hyderabad and play again. 

Next morning, Bindal, Sushmit and I were leaving VERY early.... 6 am flight back to delhi. So we got up very early and caught the shuttle back to the KICKASS airport, checked in etc etc ..... I got the middle seat, I was sooooooooo pissed off because of that and Bindal was nicely gloating cuz he got the window right next to me...... hehehehehe..... We were quite hungry, specially Bindal and we ate THE WORST chicken burger possible.... left it after a few bites. Anyhow, we got on the plane with HOT air hostesses :D and i got to my seat and SLEPT the whole way. Crazy stuff i tell you :D ......... But neither of us knew that this was gonna be our last gig for the pubrock tour because we cancelled the Bangalore gig. 

So I would like to say THANK YOU to ALL those people in ALL those cities who took out time to come and watch us play. We loved each and every city and would want to play there again. We wanna thank you for all the support and all the cheering and all the moshing that you guys have done. We love each and every one of you ....... Hope to play for you guys very soon. And of course I wanna thank RSJ for giving us the opportunity of this tour, Amit Saigal for coming to our show in Simla and chilling with us, Kingfisher for ALL the free beer \m/ :D and definitely a special thanks to Sushmit and Sid for making our trip so much easier. Sid was only there in Chennai and would have been there in Bangalore, but Sushmit was there for all the other cities..... It was awesome hanging out with u two and thanks for everything and all your help and all the pics and videos etc ..... Cheers

Pubrock was AMAZING, we had so much fun and we (the band) became sooo much closer as friends as well ...... Our line-up is the perfect line-up and I would NEVER want any of you 3 to ever leave the band....... You guys rock !!!!!

Simla Tour!!!!!!

Let me start by saying that the gig was freaking INSANE!!!!!!! Loved it, every single bit of it. But here's something for all the people who came to the show and loved and then just went home. You guys have no idea of the kind of shit we went through just to play for you guys.......lol.......

The trip to Simla was quite chilled out. Left delhi early in the morning, didnt even have breakfast. I had a beer and a cigarette for breakfast. :-) Pilla ate a crazy omlette but thats understandable, he is a growing child and needs his nourishment........hehehehehe. Anyhow, had a blast on the road, we were laughing, listening to alot of music and simply enjoying ourselves. oh..... and the craziest thing happened on the way. Golu randomly says "Shiv" and then Jared looks out of the window towards a small shop and screams "SHIV!!!!!!!!!!!" and there he was ...... Mr. Shiv Lumba ..... hehehehehe, we just waived at him and kept going. We went to Simla a day earlier cuz, we wanted to check out the scene and see HSD play as well.

The road trip was nice, but when we reached Simla, it was total havoc and chaos. So much traffic. Then we came to know that we had walk uphill for a kilometer with our equipment. We were all like .......... "huh???? What???" Anyhow, we managed to reach the hotel and we got our rooms. When HSD reached, we came to know that those were actually their rooms and our rooms were gonna be given to us the next day. So, now we were in Hot soup. We kept our stuff in Sushmit's room, and went room hunting in season time....... Dont ever try it. Its horrible. So, we got into our car and started roaming the streets of Simla in search of a room. No such luck, so we just headed to Ritz, which a simla taxi driver called "Ritij" hehehehehehehehehe. Saw "Anus the Menace" and "HSD". But unluckily the crowd that night were just very inclined to Punjabi music and not rock music so much. So, HSD were asked to stop after about 5 songs, cuz the crowd was drunk and going crazy. They were enjoying themselves and were about to crack the floor open cuz they were jumping so much. But, its all good, I enjoyed myself ........ Was singing and screaming every word during the HSD gig and was drinking whiskey and chilling out basically. In the process of having fun, my voice got screwed up REALLY BADLY. Anyhow, we decided that we'll just crash with hsd, share the room with them. So went back and started drinking, and jamming in the room. There were so many people in the room it was crazy. We learnt that 1 of the rooms were for Dhaval and his girl friend and the other room for KD and his girl friend, so basically it was Shiv and the entire Cyanide crew in one room. I got a call in between and went outside to talk. The time the coversation ended, they were all still awake and making noise, so i slept on the road outside. I woke up after a few hours cuz it was FREEZING and i went up. By that time, everyone had gone to sleep. I took a good look around the room. The only one up was Pilla, people were on the bed , couch, floor. Jared was in between the bed and the wall....... It was the funniest site EVER. I just pushed shiv and srijan slightly and squeezed in. As the sleep started to kick in ...... I started getting molested by them so i kicked and pushed them away. Then as the sleep was about to kick in, Bindal started snoring sooo loudly, it woke up Srijan as well. Somehow, i managed to sleep. We all got up by 8:30 because of Jared talking so loudly....... lol

Anyhow, we got up, went down to Mall Road to eat some breakfast. Waited for HSD to check out and then ahhhhhh ........ Sleep, sleep dear sleep. It was probably the best nap EVER!!!!! During the hot coffee, halls and warm water gargelling, I needed rest as well inorder to be able to sing at night. Everone slept. Jared and Srijan got up earlier and went off to eat. I got up by 5, and was hungry, ate some crazy pizza from Domino's and then we got back woke up the rest and headed to the venue for soundcheck. The only I kept doing for 2 hours was drinking warm water, eating halls and doing my vocal warm up. Sound seemed quite sorted. Golu was happy with the sound. While the drums were being sound checked, pilla and I started doing finger warm ups for guitaring. 2 simultaneoud warm ups, it was hectic. Went on stage, we sorted our Monitor sound in about half and hour and then stepped off the stage. We were happy with the sound.

As people kept flowing in, Amit told us to start. So we went on stage and Amit got the crowd damn excited and we started. I was praying to god for my voice. The first line of my bitch ...... i was so surprised cuz my voice was just fine, sounded great. Thats all it took. The rest of the show is history. It was one of THE most memorable shows that we have played. The crowd in Simla were amazing. They were soooooo supportive. We got 3 encores, which has never happened before. We played our hearts out. As soon as the show was over, Srijan got up and took his shirt off.............. hehehehehehehehe......... Then the crowd came and met with us, people kept flowing in for autographs and pictures. It was awesome to meet them all. Good fun. Then we packed our dinner, and booze and went back to the hotel. Srijan left with Sushmit, the same night.

Back at the hotel, we had a crazy time, got drunk, played dumb Charades

Slept fairly well and then got up and left for delhi in the morning. Overall it was an amazing trip. It has been one of the better trips and performances in our tour so far. Hope to come back to Simla again. It is defintely gonna be on our list for the album tour, when we release the record.

I wanna thank all the people who came for the show, RSJ for making it happen, Golu on sound, Jared for the pictures and the videos and all his support, Kingfisher for all the amazing beer, Shiv for letting us crash in his room, Ronny for driving us there and the McDonald's on the way back for giving us food......... I dont think any of us had EVER been soooooooo happy to see a McDonald's

Bombay - Chennai tour !!!!!!!!

Our outstation gigs to Mumbai and Chennai were amazing. It was a very hectic, tiring trip with no sleep whatsoever. But good fun!!! So we start with Bombay, Srijan had to drop out last minute so we played with Daniel who did an amazing job. Just had 2 days to learn all our songs. He nailed it all to the core. Throughout the way, in the airport, on the plane, it was good fun. Learnt alot about planes from Daniel. Anyhow, so we reached bombay and it was raining and became quite muggy and humid. Reached the hotel, and the four of us had a nice circle and bonding and laughing session. Re-strung our guitars and we were set. Reached the venue and it was totally crappy, the manager was being a bastard and we were so not enthu about playing there, but it was ok. While sound checking we noticed this kid going on clicking our pictures. We got sorted with our sound and then Medusa came on stage for sound-check. A few of my friends came for the show, who I had not met in ages, Vantika and Chitwan. Good fun meeting up with them. My maasi and uncle also showed up, and i got damn excited to meet them. Anyhow, Medusa started and were sounding great, they created an awesome vibe and started giving us a complex cuz we needed to keep up with them. Anyhow, we went on stage and played a "Mind-blowing" gig, had alot of fun, crowd was awesome...... Met the kid who was taking our pictures, his name is Sameer and he says that he has been a fan for a while, very sweet kid. Awesome night, by the time we got done, we stepped outside and the weather was insane, it was AMAZING. Got back to the hotel, and barely slept for a couple of hours and then we had to wake up cuz our flight to chennai was very early................ Wanna go to Bombay and play again SOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!

Then we left bombay, said bye to Daniel, cuz he was gong back home. Landed in Chennai, met up with Srijan, went to the hotel, which was awesome. It was nothing like the crappy hotel in bombay. It was amazing. Ahhhh....... I got to eat some awesome Chettinad food \m/ :D. Got back to the hotel, tried to sleep but Srijan (the kid that he is) kept ringing our door bell so we couldnt sleep........Urgh!!!! Anyhow, Reached the venue, nice place, very chilled. Our gig didnt attract much of a crowd, but whoever were there, liked it. It was a very laid-back and chilled out gig, played a few songs that we had never practiced ever before. Met up with Sidhu and Arjun (JYG) and hung out with them. They took us out for more Chettinad food at night, Keema Dosas and all \m/ :D Awesome Stuff. Went back to the hotel, got drunk and stayed up. Left for the airport at 4:30 AM .......... Had the most uncomfortable flight back to delhi......

Reached Delhi, got home by 9:30 AM and slept for 21 hours straight!!!!!!!!! :D

June 8th ....... What a CRAZY Day!!!!!!

It started off with my confirmation. That was the hectic part. Getting up at 6:30 am, reaching the church by 7:30, rehearsing the song I had to do with the other people getting confirmed (which I had rehearsed only once the day before for about half an hour) . Got confirmed, felt so sleepy in the church........ Anyhow, that was one HUGE load of my back. I needed to get confirmed. Then came home and slept for a bit. Had a CRAZY lunch at West View, Beef Steaks ..... Awesome :D

Came home chilled for a bit and then left for soundcheck and played THE MOST AMAZING GIG Pub gig of my life. Hadn't felt a rush like that in ages. Awesome.......... Awesome day !!!!!!! :D
